Time: 08:00 AM Critical Incident Peer Support for Law Enforcement & Public Safety This is a 2-day course with 4 modules, role-playing activities and scenario discussions. The objective of the Critical Incident Peer Support for Law Enforcement & Public Safety course is to train the officer to be able to offer support, or psychological first aid, to their fellow officers. This course is designed to train law enforcement & public safety officers to be effective peer supporters. As an approved International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) course, 16 ILETB hours are awarded as continuing education hours. Completion of this course satisfies the training requirements for IC 36-8-2.5-2 (Confidentiality of Communications) for Critical Incident Stress Management Services.
