
Off Duty Police for Security – Indianapolis, IN
Under the direction of a supervisor, the Off-Duty Police Officer performs general security work to protect persons and property and to prevent losses due to accidents and incidents. Off-Duty Police Officer can service institutional, industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry
Duties may include patrol of buildings and grounds of site; watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards; write incident reports; record data such as property damage; prohibiting unauthorized persons from entering; and warning violators of rule infractions.
This is a Monday – Friday, 1st shift, $30 variable hour position. The hours can change based on the needs of the business.
Must have firearm and firearm certification Never convicted of a felony Must have police badge / arresting powers No misdemeanor in past three years Possess a valid driver license Possess a valid gun permit Must be current, sworn Indiana Law Enforcement position with arresting
Must meet the following:
Police officer
Dependable transportation
Stand for long period of time Read, write and speak English
