A New Legal Defense Program for Police Officers who are members of the Fraternal Order of Police. This Policy Offers Protection through Legal Counsel when most needed.  

You can pay by check or money order.  We also accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards for credit card payments.

Legal Defense Fund Brochure - DUES INCREASE 3/1/26 LETTER

 Apply / Pay Online  - CLICK HERE  -  READ FIRST:  Amount due for August is $113.75.  This fee is for members just joining legal defense or have lapsed.  Bills that are due 9/1/25 went out on 8/8/25 and that fee is $97.50.  Use the drop down button for the correct fees due.

If you are a Lodge and paying for your members, please do not use this site, call the office and pay the lump sum for all at 317-635-5539. 

Associate Member Legal Defense Fund Application -  If you are an associate member/reserve, please use this form first prior to applying, by CC on-line.  Thank you.  Or you will need to call the office to apply by CC at 317-635-5539.  ***If a reserve or associate member and enrolling for the first time please use this form prior to applying with payment on-line, or you can apply by sending in the enrollment form with payment "again this is for 1st time enrollees that are associate/reserve members".   If you applied or pay on June 1st (falls on a weekend) please go into the drop box that reads June, otherwise if put through May it will be fixed accordingly.

The Legal Defense Dues will increase from $195.00 per year to $230.00 per year starting March 1st, 2026.  Please see letter attached and distribute to your membership

If you have already paid your Legal Defense from 9/1/25- 9/1/26, that balance due of $17.50 will be added to your next billing due September 1, 2026.
